Step 2: Add the Personalization Add-On to your cart. It costs $5 per surface. If you want engraving on two surfaces (say, the inside and outside of a compass lid), add two.

Step 3: In the order notes at checkout, write exactly what you want engraved. Include the language if it's not English. Include the spelling of names. Include the date format. Be specific — we engrave exactly what you write.

Step 4: We confirm the design with you before we engrave. Nothing gets engraved without your approval. If the text is too long for the surface, we'll tell you and help you adjust it.
