6-Inch Brass Sextant with Diagram-Lid Wooden Case – Wholesale

For the Courage to Look Beyond

A new horizon often begins with a familiar question: what comes next? Our brass sextant offers a keepsake for people who have the courage to ask it, whether they are celebrating a milestone or beginning another chapter.

At Aladean, we pair a maritime-style instrument with a wooden case whose transparent lid carries a navigation-themed diagram. Its detailed frame invites a closer look; its meaning belongs to the person you choose to honour.

The Sextant-and-Case Set

• Solid brass sextant with an antique-style finish.
• Openwork frame and curved graduated arc.
• Index arm, adjustment fittings and round scale-reading magnifier.
• Mounted sighting tube with contrasting silver-toned barrel and dark collars.
• Mirror and filter fittings in contrasting dark frames.
• Nominal instrument size: 6 inches.
• Rectangular wooden case with transparent diagram-decorated lid, metal fittings and blue interior lining.
• One sextant and one wooden case per complete set.

Confirm measurement points, case dimensions, current finish, component operation and included fittings during sample review. No extra sighting tubes or accessories are promised unless separately agreed.

This is a modern antique-style reproduction, primarily for decorative display, collecting and gifting. It is not calibrated for navigation. Historical-style names, London wording, dates and technical diagrams are decorative, not evidence of original maker affiliation, antique age, British origin or tested performance. Wording on the case does not establish navigation or astronomy suitability.

Plan a Maritime Collection with Meaning

As your manufacturer and wholesale supplier, we welcome bulk enquiries from nautical and heritage retailers, online resellers, importers, distributors, museum gift shops and corporate gifting agencies. Discuss leadership recognition, retirement collections, graduation keepsakes and explorer-themed gifts.

Film, theatre and interior buyers can enquire about decorative prop or display use. We agree trade supply against an approved sample and brief, without unsupported claims of worldwide demand, historical authenticity or commercial results.

MOQ and Complete-Set Pricing

Standard MOQ: 100 complete sextant-and-case sets. Genuine B2B and corporate projects may discuss flexibility by prior agreement, not automatic acceptance of smaller quantities.

The displayed price is for one standard complete set, not the total minimum-order value. Request a quotation covering quantity, approved specification, personalization, protective packing and destination. Sample availability, charges and dispatch arrangements are agreed separately.

A Dedication for the Next Horizon

Discuss a name, milestone date, company emblem or short message such as “Keep looking beyond.” We assess suitable frame space, wooden-case surfaces or a separately quoted plaque. Graduated scales, mirrors, filters, optics and moving fittings are not automatic marking surfaces.

For agreed personalization, purchase the Aladean Personalization Add-On with the main product in the same cart. In order notes, provide exact wording, preferred language and identify this 6-inch brass sextant set together with the component and requested surface.

Personalization is separately purchased. We agree feasibility, space, artwork, script suitability, service quantities, charges and timing. One add-on does not automatically cover both components or every set in a bulk order. Additional wording does not automatically replace standard markings or lid decoration. Approve the digital mockup before custom production.

Sample Approval and International Supply

Review the frame, arc, index arm, magnifier, sighting tube, mirror and filter fittings, case panel, lining and clasp. Confirm dimensions and operation against a current sample before bulk approval. Agree protective packing for projecting parts and glass surfaces.

Send your business, quantity, destination country and postal code, audience, required date and artwork brief. We welcome sourcing enquiries for the USA, UK, Germany, France, Switzerland and other destinations, with shipping arrangements quoted per order.

Sample review, approvals, production, dispatch and transit timing are agreed together. We commit only to what we can deliver. Free shipping, express service and occasion arrival are not assumed.

Trade Buyer Questions

Is the wooden case included?
Yes. The standard complete set contains one sextant and its wooden case.

Is it calibrated?
No. It is primarily a decorative reproduction, not a professional navigation instrument.

What does 6 inches refer to?
It is the nominal instrument size. Confirm exact measurement points and case dimensions during sample review.

Are additional tubes included?
No additional sighting tubes are promised in the standard set.

Can we personalize the case?
Subject to feasible surfaces, separately purchased service quantities and approved artwork.

Can we order fewer than 100 sets?
Discuss a genuine B2B or corporate project before purchasing. Flexibility is by agreement.

Care and Safe Display

Never look at the sun through the sighting tube, magnifier or filters. Do not assume the filters provide solar protection. Keep dry, protect glass and projecting fittings from knocks, and avoid forcing adjustment parts. Dust gently with a soft cloth and ask for finish-specific cleaning guidance before polishing. Keep magnifying parts out of direct sunlight when unattended. Supervise children; this is not a toy or safety instrument.
