Brass Binnacle Marine Compass – Wholesale Nautical Decor & Gifts

For the Person Who Helped Everyone Find Their Bearings.

Every team remembers someone who brought perspective when the way ahead felt uncertain. The steady colleague. The patient mentor. The leader who helped others choose their course.

At Aladean, we offer our brass binnacle-style compass as a maritime-inspired tribute to that guidance. Its enclosed instrument form gives a desk or display a distinctive nautical focal point, with space to build a personal message around the occasion.

A Compass with a Presence of Its Own

A polished, gold-toned brass housing surrounds the compass behind a large circular viewing window. A domed upper section, top ring, small front fitting, capped rectangular side compartment and stepped round base complete the design.

The compass is enclosed within the binnacle-style housing, not supplied as a separate pocket compass. We offer this modern vintage-inspired reproduction for decorative display and gifting, not as an authenticated antique or verified reconstruction of a specific historical instrument.

• Supply unit: One compass assembly with housing and round base.
• Material: Brass; component composition and finish are agreed against the sample and quotation.
• Nominal size: 8 inches. Overall measurements and the dimension this refers to are confirmed in the order specification.
• Features: Circular viewing window, enclosed compass, domed housing, top ring, capped side compartment and stepped base.
• Shipment planning: Actual item weight, packed weight and carton measurements are agreed separately.

A wooden box, separate stand, lamp, fuel, batteries, electrical connection, chain and gift wrapping are not included unless separately agreed. The side compartment is a decorative feature; no illumination or fuel operation is supplied as standard.

Who Has Kept Your Course Steady?

For corporate gifting agencies: Build a leadership, retirement or recognition brief around the person behind the achievement. Names, dates and a short message can make the symbolism their own.

For nautical gift shops and collector retailers: Introduce an enclosed-compass form alongside pocket instruments and other maritime reproductions.

For interiors and hospitality buyers: Review a sample for indoor desks, reception displays and coastal-inspired settings.

For importers, distributors and prop buyers: Agree the dimensions, finish and handling requirements for your range or visual brief. Historical interpretation requires independent verification.

Bulk Supply for Nautical Ranges and Recognition Gifts

As your supplier for this decorative compass range, we work from an agreed sample and specification. Standard MOQ: 100 individual compass assemblies. Flexible quantities can be discussed for genuine wholesale B2B or corporate orders by prior agreement. Contact us with your business, quantity and project details before ordering below the standard minimum.

Your trade quotation defines materials, dimensions, quantity, unit price, samples, customization, setup charges, packing and delivery scope. Engraving, freight and custom presentation packaging are separate requirements.

For projects in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Australia or New Zealand, share your destination and required date for supply planning.

A Message That Gives the Symbol Meaning

“Thank You for Keeping Us on Course.” “For the Guidance We Will Always Remember.” “A New Chapter. The Same Steady Spirit.”

These are ideas for your brief, not included inscriptions. Discuss wording, logos, finishes and presentation concepts before purchase. Curved surfaces, the window and fittings limit engraving placement; changes to the dial or housing are not assumed options.

For agreed engraving, purchase the Aladean Personalization Add-On and compass in the same cart. Enter exact text, preferred language and identify the item and proposed surface in order notes.

The add-on is separately purchased. We agree placement, available space, artwork requirements, service quantities, charges and timing. You approve a digital mockup before custom production. Artwork approval does not replace physical sample review.

Decorative Purpose, Clear Expectations

This compass is offered as a decorative maritime keepsake, not a calibrated marine navigation instrument. Do not rely on it for boating, hiking, survival or safety-critical navigation.

Do not fuel, light or electrify the side compartment. Use indoors and dry unless another environment is specifically agreed. No weather or salt-air rating is promised.

Ask about sample availability, cost and timing. Review compass response, visibility, window condition, finish, fittings, base stability, measurements and access to components. If functional performance matters to your project, agree testing criteria before purchase. Do not assume the top ring is a load-rated carrying or suspension point.

Packing and Timing for Trade Orders

We agree cushioning for the viewing window, ring, side compartment and base, with individual separation to protect the finish. Carton quantities, dimensions and gross weights are confirmed for shipment. Branded boxes and retail presentation packaging are discussed separately.

Send event dates and launch deadlines with your first enquiry. Once samples and artwork are approved, we agree production and dispatch timing, considering transit separately. We commit only to what we can deliver.

Care and Display

Keep dry and away from strong magnets. Dust gently with a soft cloth, avoid abrasives and immersion, and follow finish-specific brass and window care guidance before polishing. Do not force fittings or mechanisms.
