At Aladean, we offer our medieval steel breastplate and backplate assembly for those visual stories. From a collector's display to a non-contact costume brief, the front-and-back form creates a focal point you can build a character or collection around.

Shaped Steel, Contrasting Brass

Silver-toned shaped chest panels, visible rivets and a flared lower edge give the front plate its distinctive profile. Brass ornaments along the lower front add warm contrast. A backplate completes the assembly, with connecting leather straps, shoulder fastenings and side straps.

Fit the Brief Before Approving the Bulk Order

Ask about sample availability, cost and timing. Review panels, edges, ornaments, straps and fastenings, along with measurements and actual item weight. Confirm packed weight separately for shipment planning.

This is costume and display armour, not certified protective equipment. Do not use it for combat, sparring, contact reenactment, protective LARP or other safety-critical activities.

Before any non-contact wear, assess fit, weight, edges, fastening security, movement and safe removal on a physical sample. No universal fit or suitability for children, prolonged performance or physically demanding scenes is promised. Choose static display if wear suitability has not been established for your project.

Protect the Panels. Plan the Deadline.

We agree cushioning for shaped panels, edges and brass ornaments, separation to reduce metal-to-metal contact, and protection for the leather straps. Carton quantities, dimensions and gross weights are confirmed for the shipment. Branded cartons, retail labels and presentation extras are separate requests.

Share filming schedules, event dates and launch deadlines early. Once samples and artwork are approved, we agree production and dispatch timing, considering transit separately. We commit only to what we can deliver.

Care and Display

Keep dry and display on a stable, secure support. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Follow steel-, brass- and leather-specific maintenance guidance before polishing or applying treatments. Handle edges carefully and protect straps and ornaments during storage.
