"When You Can't See the Path, Trust the Guide"
Some compasses point north. This one points to trust.
Here's the hardest thing about faith: God asks you to trust Him most when you understand least.
When the path ahead is dark. When the direction doesn't make sense. When every logical bone in your body is screaming "turn back" and God is whispering "keep going."
That's when Proverbs 3:5-6 becomes more than a nice verse. It becomes your survival strategy:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
This "Trust in the Lord" Brass Compass carries that truth. Engraved with "Trust in the Lord Pointing to God," it's a daily reminder that you don't have to understand the direction to trust the Guide. That when your compass is broken, God's isn't. That surrender isn't weakness—it's wisdom.
🧭 The Paradox of the Compass
Here's what makes this compass so powerful: It's a navigational tool that teaches you to stop navigating.
A compass says: "I'll show you which way is north."
This compass says: "Let God show you which way is forward."
A compass says: "You're in control of the direction."
This compass says: "Surrender control. Trust the Lord."
It's the perfect metaphor for faith: You hold the compass, but God holds the map.
What "Trust in the Lord" Really Means:
- Not "I understand, so I trust" — But "I don't understand, and I trust anyway"
- Not "I can see the path" — But "I can't see, and I'm walking forward anyway"
- Not "This makes sense" — But "This doesn't make sense, and I'm doing it anyway"
- Not "I'm in control" — But "I surrender control to the One who is"
That's the faith this compass represents. Trust when it's hardest. Surrender when it's scariest.
🙏 Imagine This Moment...
You're sitting in the doctor's office. The diagnosis is bad. The future is uncertain. You don't understand why this is happening.
You reach into your pocket. Pull out the compass. Open it. The needle swings north.
You read the engraving: "Trust in the Lord Pointing to God."
You don't understand the path. You can't see where this leads. But you remember: I don't have to understand. I just have to trust.
You close the compass. You take a breath. You surrender.
Not because you're weak. But because trusting God when you don't understand is the strongest thing you can do.
That's not just a compass. That's a lifeline.
✝️ Why This Message Matters
Because life doesn't make sense most of the time.
You pray for healing and the person dies. You trust God with your finances and you lose your job. You follow what you think is His will and the door slams shut.
And in those moments, you have two choices:
1. Lean on your own understanding (which leads to bitterness, confusion, and giving up)
2. Trust in the Lord (which leads to peace, even when nothing makes sense)
This compass is for choice #2. For the people who've decided: I don't need to understand. I just need to trust.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Broken Down:
- "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart" — Not 80%. Not "mostly." All of it.
- "Lean NOT on your own understanding" — Stop trying to figure it out. Surrender.
- "In ALL your ways submit to him" — Every decision. Every path. Every moment.
- "He will make your paths straight" — Not "you'll understand." But "He'll guide you."
✨ Solid Brass. Built for the Long Walk of Faith.
Faith isn't a sprint. It's a lifetime of choosing trust over understanding. This compass is built for that journey.

Where Faith Becomes Legacy: A Compass That Points to God Across Generations
In a world where everything is temporary—where photos disappear into digital clouds and gifts are forgotten in drawers—there exists something permanent. Something that carries faith forward. Something that becomes an heirloom.
This isn't just a compass. It's a tangible reminder that when we trust in the Lord, He directs our paths. It's a legacy piece that will be passed from grandmother to granddaughter, from father to son, carrying the same eternal truth across decades: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart."
Imagine this moment, 50 years from now: Your grandson opens a worn leather case and finds this brass compass, its patina deepened with age. He reads the words you had engraved. He remembers the story you told him about faith, about trusting God when the path seemed unclear. He holds the same compass you held. And in that moment, your faith—your legacy—lives on.
The Emotional Journey: From Baptism to Blessing
At 8 years old - A child receives this compass at their First Communion. They don't fully understand yet, but they feel the weight of something important, something sacred.
At 18 years old - A graduate holds this compass before leaving for college, remembering the inscription: "Trust in the Lord." It becomes their anchor in uncertainty.
At 35 years old - A parent facing difficult decisions opens the compass, reads the verse, and finds courage. The brass has aged beautifully, just like their faith.
At 60 years old - A grandparent passes this compass to the next generation, sharing stories of how God directed their path. The compass has witnessed a lifetime of answered prayers.
At 100 years old - This compass still works. Still points true. Still carries the same message. Because faith, like brass, doesn't fade.
Voices of Faith from Around the World

Es más que un regalo—es su conexión con nuestra fe familiar." ("I gave this compass to my son when he left to serve as a missionary. Three years later, he told me he carries it every day. It's more than a gift—it's his connection to our family's faith.")

Why Brass? Why Permanent?
We chose brass because it doesn't break. It doesn't fade. It doesn't become obsolete. Like faith itself, brass endures.
When you engrave words into brass, they become permanent. The message won't wash away. The compass won't stop working. Fifty years from now, one hundred years from now, this compass will still point true—both magnetically and spiritually.
This is the Aladean promise: We don't create products. We create heirlooms. We don't sell gifts. We help you build legacies.

I needed a compass that was very clear to see. This would make a lovely gift for someone. It has a beautiful box and the back side is lovely, but it is meant for sitting on display. If you need an easily, readable compass, this would not work well for that, too much straining with the dark background and probably too nice to use as a productive compass. People who like antique looking display items would love this. Highly recomended as a gift for someone like that. I gave it a 3 because to me, it was not really usable as a compass but for quality of looks, I would give it a 5.
The engraving was off centered inside the box as well as the compass and on the compass the engraving had many errors like blotching where writing was un readable 😔😔 very disappointing.
Given as a gift. Absolutely beautiful
i hated to give only 3 star because the product s actually quite nice and nicely presented . i ordered 2, for fathers day, one for each son to have as a keepsake from me. One came just fine, worked well and all, the one that went to the son who lives out of state was recved broken. it does not work at all. He does not want to return it as it was a gift from me. I just wish it would have worked.
It looks very nice good quality but it doesn’t actually function as a compass. The directions are off.
